Bio:

My Name is Chrissy Geren.  I attended Lee on a basketball/softball scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Physical Education.  I am certified to teach K-12 Health and Physical Education as well as Biology.  I earned my Masters Degree from Tennessee Tech in the area of Instructional Leadership.  Physical activity and athletics have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I am thrilled that I have the opportunity to share some of my knowledge and experience with your children.

I have been teaching elementary physical education for 28 years and it is my opinion that physical education is one of the most important subjects your child can learn in school.  It is my hope that my physical education classes will make your child feel good about moving, which will encourage them to lead active and healthy lifestyles.  It is my goal to make people realize that physical education CAN make a difference.
